As a sole proprietor, I am aware of the many challenges that small businesses in Portland face every day. Some of the hardest are when a brick-and-mortar business is vandalized or hit by graffiti. I want to help my fellow small business owners in the area by raising awareness of these types of issues and by making sure there are resources devoted to helping them. I also want to do more to encourage everyone to shop locally vs. shopping online. When we shop locally the money we spend is much more likely to stay in our community. Also, it leads to fewer delivery trucks rushing around our neighborhood streets spewing diesel exhaust. Shop locally whenever possible. It’s also a great way to build community – there’s a chance you’ll meet neighbors.

Thanks for supporting your local Portland business community.
